I shall propose a toast!

Toasts are inseparable part of every wedding. It is a kind of a short speech in honor of Married Couple. It should include advice for the couple and best wishes. The toast is followed by tasting alcohol and tapping with glasses. In case of the wedding, one should be aware of certain rules related to proposing toasts.

First of all, toasts should not be proposed at the beginning of the wedding dinner. The first toast should be proposed by Bride’s father. The next is Groom’s father. The following toasts may be proposed by best men, grandparents and other persons related with the family.

How to propose a wonderful toast? Above all, it should come from the bottom of the heart and have a pinch of humor. The choice of appropriate words is the key to success. Not elegant everyday words should not be used. During the proposal of a toast a glass should not be held in hand. It is also important to bow before Married Couple and than rise the glass.
